Simon Denney.

We received some sad news last week. Simon Denney a good friend and member of mini and cycling clubs passed away.-
He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Simon was an acomplished mechanic and was always willing to help-
fixing his friends and club members cars when he could. He was also a keen bike rider covering many miles for fun and-
his charity work over the years. For those who knew him, we can only say "farewell Simon and we will miss you"

I have known Simon for 18 years or more. He was very helpful to all he met.
If you had a problem he would be there fixing it. His kindness shone through no matter who it was,-
he was there to help you. He will be sadly missed on the mini scene and his cycling club..... Alan Wright

Simon was one of our earliest members, firstly as a member of the Saffron Walden and Cambridge mini club.-
Latterly he was a member of the Dinky Devils car club. Simon had a huge talent with cars of all makes and models.-
He was a skilled mechanic and undertook the job of modifying his mini with a larger engine. During the time-
I've known him he has helped by repairing my mini cooper engine twice. It is so sad to see the loss-
of a really kind and likeable person. Simon will be greatly missed by all who met him in the course of his life.-
Sleep in peace old friend..... Madeline MacElroy
