Matching Green Classic Car Show - 2nd July 2017

Today 2nd July and a return to Matching Green for Mini Folk United.
This was our 5th visit to the show. I set off in Pure G my 1983 Mini Mayfair and had a really easy drive down from Fenland.
I arrived around 10:10 all thanks to the SatNav. Alan, John, Martin and Kevin were the first to arrive followed by myself.

The weather did us right with sunshine and heat. The green soon filled up with many impressive cars and a-
fine showing of military vehicles. As usual I was busy on my walkabout snapping away. There were three auto jumble stands -
with a great collection of bits and bobs. Bought a very nice rear foglight for Pure G. As usual Alan's late model Mini Cooper-
and my Mini Mayfair with its Metro dashboard had a lot of attention. I'll be replacing the Metro Binnacle later on in the year with a classic-
oval binnacle and instruments. John's 1970 mini clubman saloon has got over its Hydrolastic woes and is back in fine fettle again.
I have just added another batch of images. This is Maddie signing off on behalf of Mini Folk United, and hope you will enjoy these images.
Next show for us will be Kimbolton Country Fayre and classic car show - 9th July, see you there perhaps?
