Hilgay Village, Agriculture & Vintage Motor Show 2018

As usual Alan and I went to this years Hilgay show. I took Pure G my 1983 Mayfair and Alan-
with his mini sportspack of 2000 vintage. We arrived at 09:50 and were soon parked up. The parasols were put up as it was already starting-
to get hot. There was a nice breeze blowing which helped to cool us down. Fred Dack saw us come in and came over for a good natter.
The turnout was about 40 cars today along with all the other exhibits, Tractors, Lorries, dog carting exhibition, demonstration of-
heavy horses. At 15:00 The classic cars were invited into the arena with Fred doing the commentery as usual, he always does a good job.
We were also entertained by Jackie Raven a brilliant singer, there was something for everyone, songs from the 1940's, 50's and 60's.
The show was well supported with lots of craft stalls, bric a brac, and various other attractions. we'll be back again in 2019-
Another great day was spent at this brilliant village show...Report by Maddie for Mini Folk United.
