Hilgay Agriculture & Vintage Motor Show 2017

As usual Alan and I went to this years Hilgay show. I was in Pure G the 1983 Mayfair-
and Alan with his sportspack Cooper. We arrived at 10:05 and were soon parked up. The parasol was put to use as it was really starting-
to get very hot, which was a welcome change from yesterday at the cambridge mini show at Meldreth which had lashing rain.
Luckily there was a gentle breeze blowing which helped to cool us down. Fred Dack, popped over and we had a nice chat. He was very pleased with today's-
turnout, with around 60 cars attending on Saturday and today,(not too bad for a Sunday) plus all the other exhibits, Tractors, Lorries-
and so on. The classic cars were invited into the arena for commentary by Fred who was well armed with information on the exhibits.
The show was well supported with a variety of craft stalls, bric a brac, kiddies section and a lot more besides. Alan and I have been coming to-
Hilgay for the last seven years and we have put our names down for the 2018 show. All in all another enjoyable day at this brilliant little
show...........This is Maddie for Mini Folk United signing off.
