Mini Chill 2017 - Meldreth, Hert's 05/08/2017

Today members of mini folk united made their way to the small Hertfordshire village of Meldreth-
and the Marley Eternit social club grounds for the 2017 International Cambridgeshire Mini Chill. Just four of us attended-
Alan, Martin and myself with our minis and Kevin with his Skoda Yeti loaded with auto jumble stuff he was going to sell.
This year the weather started off well with good sunshine until approximately 11:40 when the threatening black clouds moving in-
from the west errupted into thunder and lashing rain, Kevin and Martin made a dash to his stall and started moving gear into the-
middle of his pitch. At about 13:50 the rain subsided to a mizzle and then stopped. This was our cue to start tearing down our pitch-
and decided to call it a day at about 14:15. Earlier I had bought from Kevin some UNC taps and a set of trumpets for the suspension.

Despite the sudden downpour we enjoyed our time at this show, and we did chill until the rain started. Good show and we'll be back again next year. ... Maddie
